GameChanger does not yet offer a tool that will specify that a game has been decided by a forfeit. However, the easiest workaround to communicate such a result would be to Edit the Game Details of the game in which one team forfeited.
Baseball/Softball
- Open Team
- Open Event on Schedule
- Click Score Game
- Click Menu
- Click Manual Overrides
- Edit Score according to sport, tournament, or league rules.
- Click Save
- Click Game Over
- Finalize Game
Other Sports
- Open Team
- Open Event on Schedule
- Click Score Game
- Click on the Scoreboard
- Edit Score according to sport, tournament, or league rules.
- Click Exit
- Click Game Over
- Click End Game
Note: Some sports, leagues, and tournaments record forfeits differently. Please check with your league or tournament rules for the exact number to use for the forfeited score. Example: Official Rules of Baseball list a forfeit as a 9-0 win, which equates to one run per each regulation game inning not played. NFHS lists a basketball forfeiture at 2-0 and Football as a 1-0 score.
