- Baseball
- Softball
- Basketball
- Football
- Flag football
Live streams can be shared for teams not in an organization in the following sports:
- Baseball
- Softball
- Basketball
Sharing Your Stream in an Organization
- One team's streamer starts a live video stream for a head-to-game game
- The opponent team will automatically receive the video for that game
- Both teams will have access to the live stream. Video clips (if there is scorekeeping for the game), and full-event videos will be created for both teams
Sharing Your Stream Outside an Organization
In order to share a live stream outside of an organization, you will need to import your opponent from GameChanger for that event. If you imported your team and schedule from MaxPreps or Sports Connect, you will automatically see this
- From an event with an imported opponent, begin your live stream.
- Select the correct settings for your stream.
- From the "Share with opponent" tab select to whether to share your stream and with which segment of the opponent's audience.
- Select Continue to Video Preview to finish setup and begin your live stream.
Opting Out of Shared Streaming
Staff members on the receiving team can choose to end the stream and start their own version. This will not impact the streaming team's experience.
If you would like to disable incoming shared streams for your team's events, you can disable them from your team's settings.
- Select the team you would like to opt-out from the home tab.
- Select the settings gear in the top right corner.
- Select Live Stream Sharing.
- Toggle the option off to opt-out of receiving live streams. You can turn this on again at any time.
Notes
-
Users with broadcasting permissions for either team can stream games. Currently, organization admins are not able to stream games from the league or tournament schedule.
- If the streamer in an Organization selects "Anyone" as their audience, that selection will be made for the receiving team, as well.
- After the game, staff members of the receiving team can adjust the audience on the full event video.
