Teams in certain sports can now both stream and score from a single device! This option is ideal for teams with limited equipment or volunteers.
Streaming and scoring from one device is available for the following sports:
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Lacrosse
- Water polo
- Hockey
- Field hockey
Enabling Stream and Score
- When a team in an eligible sport begins a stream, the streamer will see a new scoreboard icon at the bottom of their video screen. First-time users will also see a pop-up confirming that Stream and Score is now available.
- Select the new scoreboard icon to be brought into Stream and Score.
- From this screen, the streamer will be able to mark +1, +2, or +3 (or goal in goal sports) for either team and will be able to advance the game period.
- When the game is over, the streamer can both end the stream and finalize the game.
Assigning Players in Stream and Score
While streaming and scoring, users can assign points to specific players on their team, automatically creating highlight clips for those players.
While streaming and scoring:
- Select the Settings option.
- Toggle the Assign points to players on.
- Click the back arrow to resume scoring.
- After registering each basket or goal, select the player who scored. You can create a new player if necessary by scrolling to the bottom of the roster.
Notes
- The game period type can be changed from this mode via the Settings button.
- Games scored via Stream and Score will generate a scoreboard for the video, clips from all scoring plays, and Game Recaps.
- Stream and Score mode can be toggled on or off at any time from the streamer's device.
