Whether you're a seasoned streaming pro or setting up for the first time, getting ready for game-day just got easier. Test streaming is now available on both iOS and Android!
Team Staff and anyone with Videographer permissions can now run test streams on any practice event or any game event up until the scheduled date of the game. It’s a great way to make sure your camera, connection, and setup are ready to go.
Test streams are private. Your team community won’t be notified, and only you can see the stream.
Running a Test Stream
To run a test stream for a future event on your team's schedule, follow the instructions below.
- From your team's schedule, select a game or practice event on a future date.
The option to run a test stream will only show up for future events. If your event is scheduled for today or earlier, this option won’t appear for that event.
- Select the Try a Test Stream button.
- Select your stream settings for Video Mode, Video Quality, Video Audience, and Opponent Sharing.
The Video Audience and Opponent Sharing selections in test streams are for practice purposes only. The test stream is still private regardless of what selections you make here.
- Select Continue to Preview.
- Adjust your zoom, audio settings, or angle and then select Start Test Stream.
Once your test stream is running, check on your stream. Log in to the same account on another device to see your stream from the viewer’s perspective and make sure you’re game-day ready.
