Any team Staff member or account granted streaming permissions can start live streaming and recording video of their team's games in GameChanger with just a few taps.
The Live Stream & Record feature gives users three options to create video content through the GameChanger app that can be broadcast live to users, or recorded to the device that can be uploaded later to a GameChanger event.
- Live Stream Only - A live video stream will be broadcast through GameChanger for users to see. Live stream only when you have a strong internet connection so that your community can watch from afar. You can also live stream only when you do not have enough storage or battery to record at the same time.
- Live stream & record* to device - Stream & Record allows for a live video broadcast through GameChanger as well as a backup recording of the event on the user's device. Use this when you are not fully confident in the strength of your internet connectivity. Please note that you'll need enough phone storage and battery to do so.
- Record* to device only - The user can record video directly to their device from the GameChanger app. Record video when you have little to no internet connection. Recorded videos can be uploaded after using our Upload Full Event Video feature.
