If you need to add many games simultaneously, you may want to upload a .CSV schedule on the web. The Bulk Schedule Import tool can be accessed by any Organization Admin on the Organization's schedule tab on the web. 

If you're using the bulk schedule import tool for Sports Connect teams, make sure teams do not individually post their schedules in Sports Connect. Doing both will create duplicate events in GameChanger.

Bulk Schedule Import Requirements

1. All teams included in the schedule must already be included into the Organization.

As an Organization admin you may create the teams yourself from scratch and invite the coaches to take control of them, or you may invite an existing team that has already been created in GameChanger. Either way, in order to schedule against a team it must be active and joined to the Organization. The Bulk Schedule Importer tool will also allow you to download a list of teams that have joined the Organization to make this process a little easier if you are constructing the schedule yourself from scratch.

2. The ability to edit the .CSV template to upload into the GameChanger site

Once you have downloaded the formatted .CSV template, you will have to edit it to match your Organization's schedule. An application that can work with spreadsheets will be required to do this:

Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or free web-based tools like Google Sheets allow the editing of the .CSV template we will provide which can then be saved as a .CSV file to be imported.

3. You must be an Org Admin to import the Organization's head-to-head schedule

The user must be the Organization Admin to import all of the head-to-head games into the system. Coaches are able to access their Team Events that are created automatically from the creation of head-to-head games, but they are unable to create the head-to-head game itself.

Using the Bulk Importer Tool

1. Go to your GC Web Portal and select the Organization that you are the Admin for. 

   If you have not created an Organization yet, you can learn how to create one here.

2. From the Organization schedule page select the Add Games dropdown and select Import Teams' Schedule from Spreadsheet:

4. Select the Download Formatted CSV button to get a formatted .CSV file to get started. You can also use the Download Team List button to get your Organization's custom team list.

6. Add your Organization's events into the formatted file through your spreadsheet editor. Be sure to remain consistent with the formatting for each column of data.
    
7. Once completed, press the Select CSV button and import your finalized and saved .CSV from your files to be analyzed for errors.

8. If necessary, correct any errors in your .CSV file that the import validation tool finds:

10. Once successful click the Import Schedules button to create all of the head-to-head games in your Organization.
