The XbotGo camera system allows users to stream video to GameChanger through the XbotGo App.  XbotGo devices that are supported are:

• XbotGo Falcon
• XbotGo Chameleon
• XbotGo Sports Gimbal

Please make sure that your XBotGo app has been updated to the following versions of the app or higher:

• Android - 4.4.7
• iOS - 4.4.7

When streaming using an external camera using an RTMPS URL and Key, generated by GameChanger, users are dependent on the software of the camera manufacturer. In that streaming setup, settings such as focus, resolution, and zoom are those of the device manufacturer and are controlled in the XbotGo app. Unfortunately, controlling those settings is out of our GameChanger application's control. Please reach out to your respective manufacturer to resolve any issues with those features.

GameChanger supports a maximum streaming resolution of 1080p for external cameras.
Even if your camera supports higher resolutions, select 1080p or lower.  If you stream above 1080p, GameChanger will not broadcast or record the video.

GameChanger recommends that users determine their upload speed to help determine the best resolution to stream based on network connection and conditions.  Please visit our Improving Stream Quality for External Cameras support site for more information.

Start a Live Stream from an XbotGo Device

1. From the GameChanger app, select the appropriate team.
2. Navigate to the Schedule tab and select the event that you wish to stream for.
3. Tap the Record Video button.
   
4. If you haven’t previously used the feature, grant GameChanger permission to use your device’s camera and microphone.
5. From the preview screen tap External Camera at the top of the screen.
6. Set the audience you wish to stream to.  More about audience controls here.
   

7. Select if you will share your stream with your opponent, then tap Continue to External Camera Setup.

   Please ensure that your XbotGo device is on before proceeding to the next step. 

8. Tap the XbotGo button, and you’ll be automatically taken to the XBotGo app.
   
9. Connect to your XbotGo device and follow the XbotGo app instructions for connection to the device and, if using WiFi, the WiFi Network.
10. Follow the steps in the XbotGo app to start a live stream, and follow the prompts to accept the GameChanger link.  Your stream will automatically start streaming to the event after accepting the GameChanger link.
11. To end your stream, you must do so from within the XBotGo App by tapping on the Live video icon on the left side of the screen.

• You can mute the microphone under the Settings icon at the bottom left of the Record/Streaming screen
